When booking a silver class in Bali, you might assume all workshops are the same. But there is a hidden detail that makes a huge difference in the quality of your final product: the type of silver used. At Krisna Silver Class, we are proud to be one of the few workshops that strictly uses Pure 999 Silver. But what does that mean for you?

The Science: 925 vs. 999

  • Sterling Silver (925): This is the industry standard, containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper). The copper makes it harder but also makes it prone to tarnishing (turning black) faster.

  • Pure Silver (999): This is 99.9% silver. It is softer, more malleable, and has a significantly higher resistance to tarnish.

Why We Choose Pure 999 for You We want your experience to be premium. Pure silver is easier for beginners to shape and solder because it has a higher melting point and behaves better under the torch. More importantly, the finish is stunning. Pure silver has a "moonlight" white luster that Sterling silver cannot quite match.

Value for Money When you pay for a class at Krisna, you are receiving a higher value of precious metal. Your 7 grams of included silver is nearly 100% pure precious metal. We believe that if you are going to put your heart and soul into making a ring, the materials should be worthy of your effort.
